Could somone please help.

i want the wife to have a Chest x-ray in Thailand for TB etc. before she comes to the UK. However, i'm having difficulties explaining to her what it is she needs. Could someone please translate it in Thai so that i can copy and paste it into an e-mail which she can give to the hospital or Clinic.

Are you sure it's necessary? It may be at the Immigration Officer's 'discretion', and I haven't heard of it being necessary. Check in the 'Other Countries' visa subsection.

Yeah i looked there Richard. Basically, it seems to be a gamble really. If she has it done before hand, it could save a 2 hour wait at this end if the IO insists on one. However, not all IO's insist on having one, from what i can gather. Heathrow Terminal 3 seem to insist on it but at Manchester it's iffy and luck of the draw.

Oh no, she just sent me the picture of the chest x-ray and said "is this what you wanted darling"? I said "No darling but if you show that at immigration, you won't have any problems"
