Third Road

Featured Replies

I drove down the 3rd Road (Jungceylon Boulevard) today for the first time since the big wet hit!

I few shovel fulls of hot mix are not going to do the job this time, it's reverted to a buffalo paddock.

In a few places I nearly got bogged in the bitumen rubble that once resembled a road. The potholes have all joined together to form pits into which many motorcycles have disappeared for ever.

They are going to have to do a proper job this time, he said, knowing it won't actually happen. <_<

It was bad two days ago so i can imagine what its like now.

Sounds like i can go crocodile hunting there pretty soon :)

I drove it today. And not again before it has been repaired. Worst main road in Patong! It is really dangerous during this rainy season as you can not see the depth of the holes. Using Nanai Road instead.

It is really funny, so many people took the road today... and by accident (or fortune) I took a video of a part of the road today. Have fun watching it:

Using Nanai Road instead.
Please don't, not more traffic in front of my house... :ermm:

Please delete, somehow the posting limit doesn't work out too well on this system. For more info, please PM if you are admin.

If they just got the road in shape, it would be used and traffic will be significantly lower on Beach rd and Nanai but that is using logic which is used sparingly in Thailand.

I hate having to use Beach Rd to get through Patong to go through the hills to Kamala/Surin, adds around 15 mins to the Journey.
