The biggest question in all of this in my opinion, which a BIG problem with modern day Football/Footballers today, is not why did he swear down a Camera etc, but what was/is going through his/their minds to be as angry as that when they score a Goal & why on Earth would they not be wonderfully happy that they scored it, which in turn should in general produce a very big smile & most certainly not, anger ??

Ronaldo's the same, never smiles when he scores, he genrally has a facial expression of " This is b*llocks, i don't want to be here " when he does score too, why ??

They earn more in a week that the average Fan earns on a Year, they do what every Fan who pays money to watch them dreams of doing a Kid, they score Goal after Goal at the top level of professional Football..

Martin Samuel hit the nail on the head as usual, he basically said they should smile & enjoy for crying out loud or quite simply, give it up as it's quite obviosuly not doing you any favour as a Person..

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/article-1372991/Wayne-Rooney-man-motivated-vengeance-spite-Martin-Samuel.html

I put it down to a Generation that listen to Gangsta kind of Rap Music or just normal Rap Music/R&B, where a Smile is as rare as the Queen's English & it's " fashionable " to try & look angry/tough/hard..

It's what a very high % of their generation listen to & are influenced by, it's true..;)

Carragher challenge on Nani? that's ok. Essien challenge this weekend? Thats ok too. A Cole shoots someone with air rifle? Fine. Balotelli throws darts at youth players? sweet. Rooney says a naughty word that might upset the conceited sensibilities of middle England and the daily mail? ban him....... f*****g barmy world we live in!

Players swear at each other and the ref in EVERY game EVERY week but nothing. Rooney says one word into a camera shoved in his face after he's notched a hat trick to bring his team back from 2 down in the title run in and gets charged by the corrupt ****s....

That doesn't make it right does it ??

& why did he say those specific words when, as you quite rightly point out, he scores a Hat Trick for his Club that argubly sealed a Record Breaking Championship ??

Any idea why he didn't smile or say " Yeeeeeesssss " & smile in delight, instead of " <deleted> you, <deleted> you, <deleted> off " ??

Just wondering..

You can take the Boy out of Liverpool, but you can't take the Liverpool out of the Boy me thinks..:)

I get angry sometimes when I play Basketball, sometimes things don't go my way, sometimes the players around aren't doing what they should. I get angry, it fires me up and I respond, I punch the air and I shout, I sometimes swear..... I do not, punch, kick or fire rifles at people while smiling or in anger....

I am by day, a happy go lucky bloke who generally makes those around him smile, I like to think. Most people are different/change on on a pitch, field court etc......

Some priorities and, a little realism here people.....

What about when things do go your way then Rus, like when you score the equivilant of scoring a Hat Trick in Football, to 3 x 3 Pointers on the bounce for arguements sakes ??

Do you then scream " <deleted> you, <deleted> you, <deleted> off " to anyone that would listen or take notice ??

Let's get that realism going..

Gooney has played crap for more than a yr . He blames the press for his loss of form .He thinks he should be immune from bad press. Even on the day he managed to score 3 he knows that the real headline is how HTF did vidic stay on the pitch . That was the highlight of the game. He also knows that he has fked any chances of moving on in the summer because the only one's that can afford to pay his wages don't want him .

It's the end of football as we knew it.

Football is a man's game. It's not Jackanory. If you don't like foul language then sport is not for you.

I recall being in the Sandy Lane stand when Dale were playing Scunthorpe and my cousin remarking to the corner taker that he 'put the C**T in Scunthorpe' and the player in question had to stop his run up, laugh, shake my cousin's hand and then take an abysmal corner.

For the record Dale won 3-1 that day I think.

^Cheers heavy drinker your post is correct.

Lets charge every supporter as well who dares call ROONEY a scouse wanke_r or even a manc <deleted> while they are singing there hearts out during the game.....The Fa DOUBLE STANDARDS AGAIN,

I think the challenge on Nani sent out a very clear message to him that if you are going to persistently be a filthy cheating <deleted> then one day someones going to break your legs. The only surprise to me is that the odious little <deleted> did'nt get a piece of that long before. i doubt very much that defenders particularily like him trying deliberately to get them sent off at the earliest oppotunity. I would add that if this appears to be the main agenda as it obviously is with him that he should expect some pay back.

The rest of your post i totally agree with. :D

Why is anyone suprised at Rooney? He is just pond life that happens to be rather good at football.

When i was about five years old i had a pet hamster that was significantly more intelligent than him

I will give you one example of why you are wrong Rus. Sure players swear at each other and at the ref. But the armchair pundit doesnt hear it. I was watching the game with my 9yr old, when Rooney comes out with all that nonsense! Not good.

He should be made an example of. If Balotelli did the same, I would say exactly the same thing

You've lost me, i don't see what relevance me saying anything about the Game being ruined has with a Man who has just scored a Hat Trick for his Team that has possibly sealed that Team a historic Championship, screaming " <deleted> you, <deleted> you, <deleted> off " into a Camera..

I said it all in the initial Post what i think, why does he think like that, he should be overjoyed at scoring a Hat Trick, not so angry that he does what he did ??

& as i said again, if they find Football so infuriating & it makes them as angry as it seemingly does, i reckon they ( he's not really alone Rooney ) they should give it up as it quite obviosuly isn't any good for their health nor is it good for the Kids that look up to them..

Looking forward to finding out whether Rus says " <deleted> you, <deleted> you, <deleted> off " when he gets a few Hoops..:D

Are you a lawyer? I dont think the question i asked was too difficult,a lot of your posts you seem to keep going on about how football is being ruined by money and the authorities ie The FA....Sky and a lot of money men...what Rooney did is happening at nearly every game week in week out all over the world.........just because it was on sky and at a camera he is getting a ban ...didumms! ;)

It was a working mens game yes Singer, with working class language to boot,,,,you do say you harp back to that and if your beloved West Ham went on to greater things you would rather follow someone else! fuc_k me i remember you had to piss in a rolled up newspaper in the stretford end because you couln;t get to the pisser....and nobody gave a toss either. double standards again.

The question wasn't too difficult no, it's just if you re read my opening thread i've said everything right there about what i think about it..

Whether i agree with banning Rooney or not is irrelevant, my opinion has no bearing at all on anything regarding this, but Premiership Footballers owe it to a Society that idolises them not be a complete & utter silly little Chav Pr*ck, but to be people that Children can look up to as decent people ??

That would be nice wouldn't ??

Instead of that Chac Culture sh*t that there is at home now, that Rooney just encouraged at the weekend ??

& for thhe record Mr Red, i have NEVER seen a Player who after scoring a Hat Trick in a very important Game, screamed " <deleted> you, <deleted> you, <deleted> off " into a Camera & i watch, at last Count, about 6 different Leagues from around the World each week..

I fail to see what p*ssing up someone's Leg at OT or what the Sport being a Working Man's Game with Working Class Language has to do with that classless Scouse Mushroom screaming what he did into a Camera after scoring a Hat Trick though..

Rooney's just a <deleted> Idiot bottom line, he's a Kid that's the envy of Millions around the World & he can't even crack a fcukign smile when he scores a Hat Trick, but instead screams what he did.. H

He's just a Mug with a decent Right Foot, no more than that..

That's the point of all this, it DOESN'T happen every week. Yes, players are swearing every week but out of hear shot and only visible to the lip readers and not into the cameras where it can be clearly heard by all (especially the young one's). If you can't understand the difference, then removing your red specs may help you see more clearly.

Do you think "Wazza" :ermm::huh: had anything to do with that statement? Do you really think that he is capable of contructing a sentence. He is a dunce that is better than the average professional footballer and is being paid obsene amounts of money that he spends gambling and on elderly prostitutes. :)
