Pharmacy Safety

Featured Replies

are the pills sold at independent pharmacies in thailand safe? im thinking specificly about the dianazepam(valium).

since they just toss a few in a baggie, could you risk getting some counterfit stuf that containes toxic stuff like paint. i know this has been the case with pills bought online.

I think over the counter no prescription valium is illegal in Thailand. Anyway, it's hard to say, there are a lot of counterfeit meds sold in Thailand and the storage conditions at many places is atrocious. I stick to big name pharmacies here.

In my view that drug is toxic without modifications. Yes there is a serious problem with counterfeit drugs, especially those regarded as controlled but sold under the counter and as said above storage is often problematic as most drugs do not take well to over 30 deg temps (even many high end shops with air con are hot at night).
