The_Moog Posted December 22, 2003 Posted December 22, 2003 If you send an e mail to the 'idont giveahoot' mailbox, you get (somehow) on to the list of these Nigerian scammers. Don't believe me ? Try it. (Just do it from a mailbox you don't often use) Actually some of the e mails are quite amusing, but i'm sure you'd get bored if they come into your everyday e mailbox. Moog
Boon Mee Posted December 28, 2003 Posted December 28, 2003 I did send an e-mail off to him years ago with what I thought were quite pithy comments - never replied but those Nigerians sure did! With a vengence - Can't believe anyone falls for their scams but PT Barnum was right in a sucker born every minute.
The_Moog Posted December 30, 2003 Author Posted December 30, 2003 I don't understand why emailing Trink results in this onslaught of weird emails. Thankfully I wrote to him using a mailbox I rarely use. He must be selling addresses.
Garry Posted December 30, 2003 Posted December 30, 2003 I finally replied to my last Nigerian e-mail, where they wanted to transfer USD$14,500,000.00 into my account. With my sense of humor, I couldn't help myself and sent them a lovely reply saying I don't do any money transfers under USD$200,000,000.00 and get back to me when they have the money. Guess what, I never got an answer back. I put a colour filter on their e-mail address and it definitely never came back again. Jeez, I crack myself up....
maerim Posted January 2, 2004 Posted January 2, 2004 Jeez, I crack myself up.... Bernard Cofusius Trink, he say lady pilot who flies upside down bound to have crack up!
Garry Posted January 3, 2004 Posted January 3, 2004 Bernard Cofusius Trink, he say lady pilot who flies upside down bound to have crack up! Confuscious say:. Woman running with dress up and can run faster than man with pants down
Garry Posted January 3, 2004 Posted January 3, 2004 So Neo and Trinity both die, the machines still rule the world, and the humans are still stuck in Zion. What a waste of 6 hours movie viewing. Jeez, thanks a lot Mooq, some of us haven't seen the last edition yet..!!! p.s. You're off my christmas card list as well..!!!!
The_Moog Posted January 5, 2004 Author Posted January 5, 2004 oops. Sorry Garry. If its any consolation, Neo didn't die in vain, as he saved the Matrix from the viral Mr Smith. By way of redemption, I have changed my tagline.
Garry Posted January 6, 2004 Posted January 6, 2004 Hmmm, okay mate, you're back on the chrissy card list, but only in pencil mind you....
chanchao Posted January 13, 2004 Posted January 13, 2004 > Frodo (eventually!) tosses the ring into the volcano, nearly falls in, > Gollum does - but seems to be fairly cheerful about it. > Nobody else important dies. Sorry to butt in and so off-topic too (though Think also does movie reviews so I think I'll get away with it!) but where does this quote come from? It reminds me of the EXCELLENT 'The Abridged Movie Scripts' website (do a Google search) which sadly hasn't been updated with recent movies for a while. (Matrix was about the last one I think). Anyone knows if and where these gems can be found? And for anyone else, check out that site, it's really very funny. Cheers, Chanchao
32x Posted January 13, 2004 Posted January 13, 2004 Has a more boring film ever been made than that load of crap Matrix? Took my TGF to see the film last year at the Big C in pattaya, fell asleep after half an hour,TGF wasnt happy as she stayed awake and had watch the whole thing. One great film i did See was a thai film called "my girlfriend"so funny. If any of you havent seen it watch it.
