I have itunes on my computer which i used to load games etc onto my iphone.

Now i have an Ipad and when I attach it to my computer it says that if i want to add my new game that if i sync it it will erase the games on it(from the shop) and load the ones i have on the itunes.

Can anyone advise me what to do.

Cheers

there is a option to "Transfer purchases" into the current profile.

just connect the device and right click on it.

Thanks but when try it says my computer is not authorized for items purchased from the itunes store. It tells me to go to 'store' then 'authorize this computer', which I have done.

When I trty to tranfer I get the same message although I've already authorized it

this is a problem when you get pre loaded games. You are effectively using the account of the guy at the store. So, if you want to update/load your own bits and pieces, you have to lose what you currently have and do it properly. This is one of the reasons I hate having to use itunes

Ya what Mighty said. Its not itunes fault. You are using stolen apps given to you from someone else account. So now when you log into itunes with YOUR account it will erase all the stolen ones in order to sync ones you actually buy or steal yourself with your account. Make sense? Its not a computer where you can just have anyone install whatever from wherever, everything is tied to an account and if you change the account you have to lose all the apps from the previous account. The guy who put all the old apps on it used his account, now you are using yours.
