We are a family of four, including a 1 year old and a 3 year old, looking for a six week furnished rental in Chiang Mai this fall. We would like to be within walking distance of town. Ideally we would like a modern, family friendly condo with a pool. Budget is up to 30,000 per month. All ideas are welcome! Thank you in advance.

Don't know much about Galare, but you might consider serviced apartments. Here's a few you can find on google:

-studio99: towards the night bazaar. fewer rooms tend to be booked in advance.

-frangipani: in town, nicely designed and has some bigger rooms available.

-kantary hills: not in town, but the nimmanhemin area has tons of shopping/restaurants, etc in walking distance

-the empire residence: also in nimmanhemin area

Many of these are pricey but might be worth a look. Good luck!
