aehn Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 Yes, Anthrax (no not the disease you moron ) will be coming here, "Among the living" - line up but without Spitz, it´s gonna be awesome!! And then only 4 days later, Ritchie Kotzen will be coming here! A classic 80´s shred legend! (even though his recent material is kinda boring) Be there or be...
aehn Posted April 28, 2011 Author Posted April 28, 2011 Wow. You're easily entertained, aren't you? Nope, not at all, I would probably dislike the things you like.
Kilgore Trout Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 Wow, last time I saw them was in 89 at the Aragon Ballroom. Where are they playing?
aehn Posted April 28, 2011 Author Posted April 28, 2011 Wow, last time I saw them was in 89 at the Aragon Ballroom. Where are they playing? Behind Esplanade, Ratchada, Thailand cultural center station
anothertorres Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 is this the same venue that Youth of Today is playing?
Shipwreck Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 Tickets are 2500b for close up and 1500 for a bit further away. If anyone needs a better idea of what they are getting into, check out: http://www.thaiticketmajor.com/concert/sonic-attrack-eng.php (One of the opening bands is 50% of the former band Pantera - drummer and bassist)
BangrakBob Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 was never really into Anthrax but Bring The Noise with Public Enemy is one of the best Rap/Metal songs every done, I still love it
gkinbkk Posted April 29, 2011 Posted April 29, 2011 Horses for courses but I much prefer the newer bluesier Kotzen, telecaster into a high gain amp with the volume rolled back and melodic, than the shredder.......
aehn Posted May 1, 2011 Author Posted May 1, 2011 Horses for courses but I much prefer the newer bluesier Kotzen, telecaster into a high gain amp with the volume rolled back and melodic, than the shredder....... Back in the early days, when he shredded, it was always melodic, AND he had a totally unique style. Now days, he sounds just like every other person who plays the blues. Even though he does it really well, there are about 100 millions of other blues players out there as well. But Kotzen is Kotzen, and he can still deliver, and hopefully we get to hear some of the classic stuff as well.
pumin Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 Thanks for heading up and hopefully to see you in the pit !!
