Invinc Hd Media Players

Featured Replies

Just been to the Mall Ngamwongwan, and Powerbuy is having a big sale, whilst walking around I noticed the INVINC HD 400 and INVINC HD 200 Media Players starting at 5500baht. I got a leaflet and have looked through it, seems quite compact and decent, holds upto 2TB. Comes with a keyboard and a USB Mouse plus remote. Has TRUE HD capabilities (whatever that is) and also has internet functionality including bit torrent.

I have the leaflet like I said, it is a bit dark but might scan and upload it for those interested.

If anyone has one, can you tell me if it is any good or not.

By the way the Powerbuy sale is on the 4th floor of the Mall, I think it finishes on the 10th May, TV's and many other things down in price.

My Kakudos is supposed to do True HD, but it doesn't, so I'd recommend checking properly before buying.

I bought a Western Digital WD-TV (does full HD) for less.

I bought a Western Digital WD-TV (does full HD) for less.

I thought that the WD did not have Internet and access to youtube and other things.

It doesn't. That's what your computer is for.

But the Invinc and others have Internet, so that I can download my torrents directly onto the Media Player, without having to use my laptop and then exporting them to the Media player.

Hmm! On the Kakudos, you still need your computer to search for and upload ( or send ) the torrent.

Aha, maybe I got the wrong idea, I thought as because the Media Player has a built in Browser that I can use it to download the torrent into BitTorrent, without using the computer at all.

I just purchased a Western Digital Live Hub 1TB of storage inside 5,500bht from Amazon.com and delivered by a friend.

Doesn't do bittorrent downloads, but does everything else.

I don't think the one you mentioned has any storage, just the ability to read 2TB that you have to pay extra for.

If you have a PC connected to your Tv then XBMC is a free frontend to make your PC a media server.

Looks something like this, but it has many different skins
