The local media were summoned to the Underwater World Park on the Sukumvit Road in Jomtien to attend the grand opening of a new exhibit at this popular tourist destination. The Center now has a Sea Dragon aquarium featuring two species known as Leafy and Weedy. These exotic animals have been imported from Australia and this is the first time, this particular species has been seen here in Thailand. In attendance at this opening ceremony was Khun Santishai, the Deputy Governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand and Mr. David Hong, the Manager of the Underwater World Center.

I haven't seen a Sea Dragon since I use to go Scuba diving in Melbourne. Great looking creatures.

Great pic brit.......these Leafy Sea Dragons grow to 18 inches in length and the Aussies are very reluctant to allow them to be exported as they are a highly protected species.....
