Hi, we heard about this last night and out out an appeal, we've just heard that 8 people have given the right blood but 2 more are needed in order for the operation to go ahead successfully.

We'll be putting out more messages this evening and again in the morning, hoping it works for Louis.

Yes, it does matter A+ is very common, A- very rare. One cannot be substituted for the other.

If you have O-, this can also be used (anyone with O- is called a "universal donor", they can give to anyone).

I was saddened to hear that Mr. Bronner passed away this morning.

Did not really know him, but did meet him a couple of times.

Seemed a classy guy and overall nice person.

RIP and condolences to his family.

Very sad news indeed. RIP Louis...we will miss you!
