I know its been mentioned here before but i can't find it. There is a nice romantic restaurant half way up Doi Sutep behind the Zoo with great views. I also know they have a website but I've lost the URL.Could someone tell me as I need to book it this morning...

Very attractive location, lots of flowers, average food, horrendously poor service, & not good to be outdoors at this time of year with the risk of rain.

He could also be referring to Palad Tawan Ron, no ? That's the one which is a restaurant - like with 4 walls, and great views, and rain-proof, but avg food n $$$. The outdoor one by the lake is a better value. If the anniversary is tonight exactly, you might get away with a rain-free night. Let us know how the food/dining part of your anniversary works out after you've been. Have fun !

Sounds like Palaad Tawanron. Nothing to get too excited about. Beautiful view that's for sure, but the food is below average IMHO, over-priced, and both times I went there the wait to be served something simple like seafood spaghetti was like 45 minutes!
