A plan for a new international school in Phuket is being considered.

Mom Luang Tri Devakul, a well known architect of several hotels and villas in Phuket, and also the Chairman of the Board of Governors and the founder of the Prem Tinsulanonda Center for International Education (or the Prem Center) in north of Chiang Mai, Thailand’s second largest city, told Andaman News that he is considering developing and building a new international school in Phuket. He said that he has been approached by a group of parents in Phuket to establish a similar school here on a large piece of land near Trisara Resort in the north of the island and the project is now under a feasibility study:

“We’ve been looking at school seriously on 600 rai of land near Thalang…..” .

Nope, but as many projects in Thailand, it sorta got forgotten. Not many people could afford 300k a year. QSI, BIS and a couple others are all suffering from the Koreans leaving the island.
