May 24, 201114 yr Just went to get my iPod Touch fixed because I dropped it and the glass cracked. They want 6,300 THB which is 60% of what I paid for it brand new, and they don't fix it, they give me a reconditioned unit. Hmmm. That is not a very impressive offer. Warranty still in effect, but since I dropped it, OK, I accept that it's my fault. But 60% of the price of a new one just to replace the glass? Apple happiness level going down. The girl told me that Apple does not allow the importation of the screens, but I can buy one in the US on eBay and then get it fixed. Sounds like a lot of work to me. Has anyone found a place that fixes these things either here in Phuket or in Bangkok? At this point, I don't care if I void the warranty, I'll just buy a new one and give this one to my wife.
