I just got my 60-day tourist visa from the Thai embassy in Sweden and it seems they've made a mistake. I wrote very clearly on the application that I would arrive in Thailand january 14'th. i also attached my flight itinarary which says my return flight is on March 11. Still the visa they sent me says "Expiery date March 9". What should I do? Sending my passport back to them in secured mail will cost just as much as getting an extension while in Thailand, but is it really nessecary though, my return date being only 2 days past expiery?

It's no problems at all. The March 9 date menas that you must utilize the visa (enter Thailand) before that date.

When you arrive Jan 14 you will be stamped in for exact 60 days, so you will be good until middle of March. So you won't  need to make a 500 baht extension either if you leave on the 11th.

Double check the "admitted until" date when you are stamped at Don Muang Immigration!
