Lost Files, That Can Be Seen And Not Touched

Featured Replies

Lots of photo image files and movies are in my recycle bin after a neighbour caused some virus or crash on my pc. I don't care about the movies, but they restore to their original destination and can be opened no problem. However, the photos cannot! When I restore, they go somewhere. I THINK they're returning to their original folder but can't be seen there. The folder properties suggest that the files are there, but there is nothing to see. Refreshing doesn't help. Putting them in a thumb drive and trying to open them on another pc hasn't worked either!HELP!!

Jiu-Jitsu, you ARE A STAR!

Many thanks. I owe you a drink.

Let me know if you're ever near the Pinklao area and thirsty.

Oops! Nearly forgot...

Download, install, update and run a Full Scan with Malwarebytes' AntiMalware. When complete, choose 'Remove Selected' if there is anything to remove and Reboot your computer.

After restart, open the program again and go to 'Logs'. Double click on the log produced for today and post the contents here(if you wish).
