June 13, 201114 yr Anybody out there who can confirm for me, that before my None O visa runs out, that if i go across the border to Laos i will get another 90 days extending the term from 12 months to 15 months. I know im only putting of the inevitable, but ive heard so many rumour's.!!!
June 13, 201114 yr If you have a multiple entry non-O visa, from a Thai consulate, you will indeed get a new 90 days if you leave and re-enter just before the visa itself expires. (the visa says something like utilize before ****)
June 15, 201114 yr Westfield7: I just went through this, My one year O visa expired in mid May, due to having my passport expire in 4 months I couldn't get a new Non O visa. I went to the local immigration office in my area, Nahkon Sahkon and got a 90 day extention for 1,900 baht and didn't have to leave the country. You can stretch a one year visa to 15 months actually. Ken
June 17, 201114 yr My Non-O Visa expired in May and I returned to Thailand in April and got the 90 days more, its 100% true if your Visa expires on July 2nd then return on July 1st and you get 90 days more.
