Jeddah?

Yes indeedy.

A place where Eve was reputedly buried* until the prevailing religion apparently wrecked the site as a "perversion" to their beliefs.

The city name is derived from the word Jadda, meaning grandmother, which refers to Eve as the mother of mankind. (peoplekind?)

(* if you believe in that stuff)

Now where the next pic....... hmmmmmm

I found this, but it was rejected.

Looking up Jeddah, gave no reference to Adam and Eve.

The city was founded as a fishing hamlet over 2,500 years ago, but first

achieved prominence in 647 A.D., when the third Muslim caliph Uthman Ibn Affan

turned it into a port for Muslim pilgrims making the required Hajj to Mecca.

Neva care, love trying to find stuffs.

The city of Prophets

December 4, 2007

,,,,,One of the oldest cities of the world, absolutely you should see ,,,,, The city where Adam and Eve lived,,,, The city where Abraham was born and lived,,,, The city where Moses lived,,,, The city where Elijah lived,,,, The city where Jethro lived,,,, The city where Job lived, ________,

The city has been known by many names: ܐܘܪܗܝ, Urhāy in Syriac, Riha in Kurdish, الروها, Ar-Ruha in Arabic, Ուռհա, Urha in Armenian, Ορρα, Orrha in Greek (also Ορροα, Orrhoa). For a while it was named Callirrhoe or Antiochia on the Callirhoe (Greek: 'ντιόχεια η επί Καλλιρρόης). During Byzantine rule it was named Justinopolis. Although it is often best known by the name given it by the Seleucids, Εδεσσα, Edessa.

Lol Zed what's that got to do with the price of rice in China???

Get a Bible and figure it out. or PM Old Croc or just do what I did and Google it.

The origin of the city's name poses an interesting dilemma for etymologists. Juddah (pronounced Jiddah) in Arabic means seashore, which seems logical enough, but the school of thought which prefers Jaddah or grandmother, is given credence by the traditional location of Eve's tomb within the city. Jeddah is, in fact, incorrect, but is popularly used by most non-Saudis living there.
