Mae On Rocket Festival

I happened to be in Mae On yesterday and saw at least 25 rockets launched in the distance. I thought that the festival was at the end of June and that I had missed it.

Does anyone know if there are a number of these events? Looks like it could be a fun day out.

Hi yes they occur all over N and NE LOS. Our local was about 3 weeks ago. The biggest one AFAIK is in Yasothon if you want to partake in the extreme end of the spectrum. The exact dates are typically lunar so change every year but I'm sure you can google the Yasothon event which occured in May the year I went.
