In so far as I am aware, there is no direct bus from Korat to Arun.. Your easiest and quickest option is to take a 274 bus (Korat to Surin) to Nang Rong. At Nang Rong , change to a 522( Buriram to Chantaburi via Arun) to Arun.If you have never been on this road ,you may well enjoy "falling" off the Plareau. Quite a steep drop.

There is a bus that goes once a day to Aranyaprathet. It takes five hours ansds stops a lot.

the bus is in the northwest corner of the terminal, behind the main pathway. It is nearby the buses to Hua Hin.

From Korat to Arun? In 5 hours ? And it stops a lot? What number bus? What time does it depart Korat?Do you know the route?

Does it go via Prachin Buri?To Sa Kaeo, Arun?

It has been four years, so my memory may fail me.

It departed around 2:30 pm and took a back-roads route. If I recall, it was on Hwy 348 from Hwy 24. It arrived some time after 8 PM. I was craning my neck trying to find some evidence of Khao I Dong Refugee Center (remember that?), but saw nothing.

I dimly recall that it may be the same company that goes to Chonburi, and departs from the same platform.

My advice to anyone planning a trip to Siem Reap from Korat is to visit BKS Mai (new bus terminal) and ask around for the company. It is at the far end from the platforms for BKK-bound buses

Interesting .The only bus that runs South on highway 348 , to Chantaburi via Arun, is the 522 from Buriram(not Korat) to Chantaburi, which stops at Nang Rong on its way to Chan. Buses run approx, 1 every hour, during the day.To connect with the 522 ,you catch either the 273 (Korat to Buriram via Nang Rong) or the 274 ( Korat to Surin ,via Nang Rong).with at least 1 departure every hour. I think the 274 has the better connections with the 522.Both these fly along highway 24, to Nang Rong. To go to Siem Reap from Korat, once again, this is the only way to Arun. To start the journey.
