Have to decide whether to install Windows 7 or XP now. Leaning towards the latter.

Throwing a curve ball in here, but have you considered something like an Asus Transformer with keyboard dock?

RUns on Android, but if you're just surfing, watching movies, calling and emailing it works a treat (it's actually great for most tasks TBH).

16 hrs battery life with dock, about 9 with just the tablet. Weighs about 700 grams as far as I can recall.

It's a bit more expensive in Thailand I imagine, but in US retails for $399 without dock, ~$499 with. Super little device

Looks interesting, but I've already made my decision and picked up the Samsung mentioned in the previous post.
