MOHAMED AL-FAYED is ready to quit Fulham — for £80million, writes CHARLIE WYETT.

The West London club have been targeted for a takeover, with gaming boss John Wallis desperate to sink some of his own fortune into Craven Cottage.

Hammersmith-based multi-millionaire Wallis, 52, is a Fulham fan and is ready to begin talks with chairman Al-Fayed.

Wallis, who has made his fortune via an online casino business, watched Saturday’s 2-0 win over Liverpool with football agent Andy Evans.

Last year, a Turkish consortium, led by brothers Husnu and Halil Falyali, was priced out of a takeover when Al-Fayed altered the terms of the sale.
