Today I wanted to try out the lunch buffet at Sunee Grand Hotel, because on Wednesdays you pay one and get one free. That is what I read on the website anyway.

Arriving at the hotel's restaurant I was told they didn't have a lunch buffet anymore. We decided to leave. Instead we had a quick lunch at Jeffer Steak in City Mall Ubon. I liked what I got, and so did my wife.

Afterwards we visited the Water Park. Normal entrance fee: 50 baht. On Wednesdays only 20 baht. There were less than ten people.

It doesn't surprise me that they do not do the lunch buffet any more.

99 baht with full table service offering about 20 dishes (last time I went) with full table service and free water (I never saw anyone ordering drinks) is not viable.

So as far for a lunch buffet it is back to the Laithong Hotel, I guess?
