I recall a thread about grass seats here about 1/2 year ago. If I remember correctly, the conclusion was there are no grass seeds for sale, don't remember the reason though.

Crazy.. i know most places they only sell grass itself but my neighbor has had the moobaan plant seeds and it took a few weeks to grow and now its 10000x better looking than everyone else..

Obviously i cant ask them.. they tell me it wasnt planted.

going north?

Yes, going North. Just past the 7-11 with the chickens in the window. Then turn right, go about 200 mtrs, and then another left, go 75 mtrs and you will see a sign.

Super Cheap is the best bet as it is very easy to get to. But the other day, my Thai friend took me to Sa-phan-Hin (translate as Stone Bridge), there are weekend Plant market. You will find lots of food and fertilizer, tree and flower. Enjoy your next weekend there.

you picked a good time to ask. The annual plant fair is on now at Saphan Hin...you can get anything related to gardening that you want there and its cheap...runs through Thursday. Just go to the central staging area...go to the recent Phuket Gazette article and there is a popup map how to get there...all three of the pink buses will get you to it or very near...

good luck

Fertilizer..

With some execption in the speciality areas your best bet is Gai Poo Chiken <deleted>. there is a shopo about 500 m south of Supercheap that has the stuff. 50for 350 baht. Most of the doc mai shops etc have only moo poo and that is heavilky mixzed with straw etc. If you are comming back down from bybass take the same U turn and tis before the tyre cneter. Get ready cause it smells. DO NOT put it into you car as the interior will soak up the smell for good!

NOT ORGANIC.... Grab a handful of Granulated, the multi color one, water it down and then get a ride to Bangkok Phuket for treatment. Same Same for Gai Poo.. mai pen rai, just reach for the parfume.. Hom Mahk will be the best brand for that one!

Chicken poop is organic as everyone knows, it also stinks and will burn the plants if you are not careful

We buy the blue granulated fertilizer and have been doing so for three years

The plants grow well and there are no side effects when using it

Commercially produced fertilizers which are not organic are used everywhere in the world on all types of crops

Chicken poop from commercial farms in Australia is not allowed to be used by registered organic fruit and vege growers

They add hormones and and who knows what else to there food and its not consider as a organic fertilizer
