For any Hachiban fans, you may be aware that they only make their loyalty card available in August (eighth month), from the 8th day no less. ;)

Anyway, you can get this year's card as of today through August 31, 100 baht, 10% discount, good through September 30, 2012.

What on earth is Hachiban?

according to: www.bangkokpost.com/food/restaurants/japanese/listing/hachiban-ramen-central-festival-pattaya-beach/7354/info/

Hachiban Ramen is considered the best of all affordable noodles in Thailand. With more than 20 different styles of noodle dishes and around 10 types of appetiser, Hachiban is sure to satisfy the noodle-crazed Thai and tourist alike. No waiting time here, since food is served just minutes after ordering.

I know 2 restaurants from them in Pattaya: Big-C Central Festival and Tuk-Com - but there are maybe more.

My favourite there is gyoza (Japanese dumplings).
