Reading todays e-mail i saw an article about the 90 day report and the 1 yr retirement extension. I have to go to Khon Kaen tomorrow for what I thought was a date for the 1 year extension (my first renewal).

Do I also have to make a TM 47 report for the 90 days.

Is your 90 day report due or will it come due soon If you can do the report saves you another trip to Immigration

My bad - I thought the 1 year extension would take care of the 90 day report since we have to give them our tabien bahn but it makes sense having to do both.

The one year extension is due the 23rd of Aug. and he gave us a date of Aug 15th for our next appt. - don't know why - we were always given the 23rtd for the

last 3 reports. From the post I read you can now do the extension up to 15 days before. I hope the postings are right because the 15th would be 8 days early and

I am almost 1 1/2 hrs from Khon Kaen.

I made this mistake last year, my retirement visa came due about the same time the 90 day report was due, I renewed my retirement visa and thought this was the same as the 90 day report, not so, when I next did my next 90 day report I was told I had over stayed, I taken to a higher officer and was finded 2,000 THB, the officer explaned that I must go to two counters not just one and renew my visa, must also do the 90 day report at the same time.

You can apply for the Extension of Stay anytime within the final 30 days of your current permision to stay.

My 1 year non-immigrant O "visa"/extension of stay is running out in 3 months. How are things concerning the 400.000 Baht nowadays? Do they have to be in my account for a full 2 or 3 months prior to the application? Last year I read everywhere 2 months was enough but at Chaeng Watthana they insisted it was 3 months, no discussion.

Basch

P.S.: How are things with the 90 days report, I lost that paper, 2000 baht flat rate like before or do they now actually check exactly how many days I was over?

Money in the bank for 2 months.

2,000 Baht fine for not reporting.

ah yeah while we are at it, when I do my 90 days report in time, can I also go earlier than the date on that paper? Say, 5 days before?
