This is popping up on my iPhone 4 [legal, latest update] lots of times. It happened about a month ago often for about 2 weeks and then stopped by itself. Now it is back for two days and keeps popping up. I haven't added anything or changed anything that I can think of. I rebooted, updated, etc to no avail. Any ideas

your mobile believes that an unsupported device is attached to the bottom connector.

This is more than likely an humidity problem, i'd try gently with an hairdrier.

Definitely its about the connector,my iphone 3 does it,it's about dirt and moisture in the connector.I blew mine with a hairdryer and gently brushed inside the connector with a soft tooth brush,It solved the problem for a while but comes back again.I did a lot of searching on apple forums and eventually found about this.
