Featured Replies

i am in Ko Samet on a UK tourist visa - what is the easiest way to extend my visa? I guess just go over one of the borders - is cambodia, malaysia or mayamar best??

thanks

When you say Tourist visa do you mean a 60 day entry tourist visa or a 30 day exemption permit? ............have a look in your passport and see how long you were granted upon arrival in Thailand.

If its a 60 day tourist simply come back into Pattaya and you can extend it by 30 days for 1900 baht at local immigration (Soi 8)

If its a 30 day upon arrival stamp you recieved then yes a trip to Cambodia is the easiest.........you could make your own way from Ko Samet to Trat or Chantanaburi............or maybe easier came back into Pattaya and go on one of the organised trips to the border, cost 2400 baht by minibus including Cambo visa.

The best for you is to go to Cambodia, Pong Nam Ron. After Chantaburi you turn left on 317. In Pong Nam Ron turn right at the border sign on 3193.

Good luck
