It is beyond me can anyone help or advise please..

On PC 3 days ago, suddenly very loud constant beep beep noise, so shut down…

Open PC cleaned and check all connections, switching on the PC starts, lights all come on, fans all work but monitor is blank…

Have many parts and another PC to then started testing…

Monitor + cable works perfectly on another PC…. Graphics card, changed to another, well tried 3 different other graphics cards nothing…. Memory, not the same as other PC so could not test, but all 4 sticks are cleaned and pushed home fine…

Bit of a loss, hope someone can advise..

2 weeks ago the Power supply went, tried a couple of places but all I could find was 450w, did have a much bigger one, [650w] notice on the graphics card info is says to use minimum of 550w … could this be a problem?

Yes, though it may also depend on what else you have installed inside.

The fact that no video card works would tend to point to part of the power supply having failed.

Update took it to the local IT shop he is owner + repair man, 2 problems.. appeared that it was something to do with the Power supply, so now has a big one in there again.. also something wrong with the CPU cooler, so have a new one, runs like a dream again.. [he did not look he said but not many people have such a high powered motherboard and graphics card, he fitted both free]

Prices have come down ? forget the price I paid about 3 years ago for the Power supply but over 2k, now 1,650 baht less the price of the one he supplied 2 weeks ago..

As for the CPU Cooler only 1,780 baht, OK is not the same make but is even bigger and 1/2 the price I paid in Pantip some years ago..

That's probably what you would pay in Europe for the same power supply, though of course they wouldn't fit it for free there. Quite reasonable for a Thai shop to discount the price of the crap product they sold you 2 weeks previously. Many would just point to the "24 hour warranty" notice in the window!

As for the CPU Cooler only 1,780 baht,

That seems rather pricey, depending on what exactly it is.

OK. That would explain the cost. I just use the fan that comes with the processor. :)

Glad that you got it sorted and that my diagnosis proved accurate.
