Why Patong? What a hole.

I could name many nice hotels as your budget does allow for many options, however, EVERY hotel here is "guest friendly" with some happy to take their cut of the sex trade by adding a "joiner fee" to the bill. Obviously, some hotels are more discrete than others, but, IMO, if you are looking for a genuine, 100%, non guest friendly hotel, anywhere on the island, you will not find one, or anywhere else in Thailand, for that matter.

In any case, I don't know what you are worried about. How does staying at a nice hotel, at around 4000 baht a night, that allows their customers "new friends" to stay with them, affect you or your stepdughter? The only time she (stepdaughter) will see another customer of the hotel and his Thai friend will be at reception to pick up their key, or by the pool during the day and, possibly, in the hote'ls restaurant. What is the danger in any of this?

If you think she can come to Phuket and totally avoid seeing guys in their 50's with a 20 year old Thai sex worker, you are wrong.
