Jerusalem Artichoke

Featured Replies

Have anyone ever seen jerusalem artichoke for sale anywhere in Bangkok?

I love artichokes, they were always part of our winter food in the UK, unless they are imported i doubht they will grow here, well, perhaps north of Chang Rai in winter, i would think they are not to everybodies likeing because of the gaseous effects,

2 weeks ago i found frozen brussell sprouts in Udon Makro, they are really good, i was suprised, lets hope artichokes will come soon..

Jerusalem artichokes are definitely grown in Thailand (see this paper) but I have never seen one for sale as food. Maybe as ornamentals? If anyone knows, please post :)
