Viewing Embedded Flash Videos

Featured Replies

Anyway to DL videos? I have looked at FF add-ons, Greasemonkey scripts and other utilities.

I'm trying to view full episodes of Daily Show and Colbert. Usually bad but Impossible 8-11pm.

Standard Flash complaints. Buffering, stop/start.

I have a 80k DL speed in best of times. I share Wifi with the building.

Looked at Tunnelbear but gave up on that.

Thanks

From other threads in this forum, viewing streaming flash video is a common problem in LOS.

I am not a fan of Real Networks. In fact I hate it - but DL anyway. Does not work on CC site.

Thanks anyway

I'm not either. Haven't installed Real for a long time, it just got installed automatically when I wasn't watching the installation of another software package and its options. Then found it works very well on Youtube and many other sites. I tested it also on CC and they apparently have download/copy protection on it. Also tried the FF plugin Video Downloadhelper which handles the majority of sites but also fails to detect it.

If only there were some method in which people from all over the world could quickly and easily share Comedy Central news programs immediatly after they were broadcast........
