Melasma- Dermabrasion - Yoskarn? Any Reviews?

Featured Replies

hi there!

I suffer from a Melasma, I'm Caucasian and live in Europe.

I've tried hydrochinon creams, triple creams and vitamins,... (including pycnogenol, msm, vit e,...) and nothing has worked. two years ago I had fraxel treatments but the melasma came back - worse than it had been before. other ablative lasers have been tested but with various success... many cases of post inflammatory hyperpigmentation and recurrence of melasma.

then I found out, that dr kunachak (bangkok, yoskarn clinic) did a study on dermabrasion for melasma many years ago - and the study showed that dermabrasion can be CURED by dermabrasion...

but all dermatologists I consulted, have told me that there is no cure for melasma...

I contacted dr kunachak per mail ... dermabrasion is a very invasive method and I'm scared... that the melasma could get worse again. but don't want to live with these dark, huge patches in my face...

is there anyone who can tell about own experience in dermabrasion at Yoskarn clinic or dermabrasion for treating melasma (maybe with another DR)??

thanks a lot and greetings!

mariechen
