Is there any advantage or more importantly, disadvantage in changing the wifes surname to the husbands after marriage ??

Changing the name makes it a bit easier to show people that you two are marreid. But besides that there are no (dis)advantages and for official and important docuents like loans etc. you need the wedding certificate anyway.

Why don't we try this in our new Marriage forum?
