Temporary Sim Card

Featured Replies

I'll be travelling to Bangkok and Pattaya with my friends from India in oct. and we wanted a temporary sim card to keep us connected to the world. Can someone suggest us a good company and a cheap one, also if we could avail 3G it'd be best.

I was thinking of loading some money into my skype account and then use it, provided we'll have WiFi access in the city? Please let me know about WiFi connectivity too and what would be best available option for us.

Thanks,

Rishabh

I think you will do better with this in the technology and communications forum. ;)

How much would those sim cards cost? also anything on WiFi connectivity in the city?

If you want WiFi access via HotSpots, you should choose from TrueMove(True WiFi) or One2Call SIM(3BB) cards. The basic SIM costs 49 baht or so. The package will depend on the length of your stay.

If you want 3G mobile broadband, your solution will depend on your existing equipment.
