Icd (Implantable Cardiac Device) In Bangkok

Featured Replies

Anyone had any experience with having an ICD replaced here in Bangkok? Seem each area or place has different time periods for hospitalization, provided all went smoothly! I am scheduled to have mine replaced here on the 4th of Oct, and more worried about the food and snacks than I am the operation. Battery life finally at its end on this unit, lasting 6 years, so, at any event not have to do again for 5-7 years again. This is my 3rd one as first one was a recall after one year and now, just outlived the battery on this one and hope to do it again!

Cardiology is a big thing over here and staff seems to be top notch in most hospitals and very up to date with all new proceedures. Just curious as to anyone who has any experience here in Thailand with cardiac devices?
