October 16, 201114 yr I was wondering if there were any locally set up seedboxes in Bangkok. Google doesn't show anything. Alternatively I would also be interested in renting out a 3-6mbps server or connection from someone. I am in Bangkok for a few months and setting up a contract with a provider doesn't seem an option. I would only ask that a laptop be placed in the premises that I would connect to remotely from the apartment I am renting. I would then come and pick up the downloaded files every few days. Something close (ish) to Suk Soi 29 would be preferable - I'll be In Bangkok from 15th November for 2 months. I'd be downloading from a seedbox based in the States via FTP.
October 18, 201114 yr Why don't you just ftp from your US server to your laptop. Most ftp programmes allow for restart if the link fails. I use FileZilla.
October 18, 201114 yr Did you Google "Seedbox Thailand"? Some may allow you to hot-swap HDDs? I doubt they'd let you plant your PC in situ? Is there anyway you can do without torrented material for two months? I mean it will still be there when you return?
