Hi all

I am considering visiting Taiwan as a tourist for a few days. But I wonder if that in any way could make it more difficult for me to obtain a visa (or even work permit) for mainland China in the future?

Has anyone got any experiences regarding this?

Thanks

No problem, despite the rhetoric from China, there are thousands of Taiwanese working in and/or visiting China. I used to work with about 50 of them. Also know many westerners that travel back and forth regularly.

Nothing like going to Iran with an Israeli stamp in the passport

Not a problem. I travel to both countries several times every year, and I have never had a problem getting new visa’s for China – despite the number or timing of my visits to Taiwan.

Confirmed, no problem whatsoever.

Actually, China never cared but in the (long time ago) past Taiwan made

trouble if you had chops from China or even a ticket showing transit via comunist Russia.

That's history.
