Not sure if Mai Khao is the next growth area for hotels but interesting to see the new Holiday Inn in Mai Khao. It looks very nice and with the brand name I am sure it will have a lot of guests.

So after discovering it I looked around and have to say very impressed. Did not try the food but did stop in their pastry shop which looked even better than the patries at bake and good prices. Also noticed a 2 for one happy hour from 5pm to 7pm.

I saw that Centara is now the new managers of the other hotel where splash jungle is and the usual suspects Marriott, Renaissance, Anantara and Sala seem to be taking doing well on their section of Mai Khao.

Mai Khao, one of the few beaches in Phuket that is not over run if yu know what I mean. Only time will tell!

That's only because unlike us Thalang locals, they do not know where to find the redlight :whistling:
