Assisted Living Facility Needed

Featured Replies

My friend's father was hit by a car and has symptoms similar to Alzheimer's. The care he is getting at home is kind of spotty. She is looking for something within an hour of Pattaya to put him in. He can basically take care of himself, but needs to have food available, medication, clean clothes periodically and a place to sleep. Thanks in advance for any help.

I did actually notice a flyer in the rack by the door of friendship the other morning for a care home, not sure if thats the kind of thing you want?

For example, at the Rongvorawan retirement village, full boarding with the help of a registered nurse who also takes care of the physically handicapped will not cost you more than one thousand five hundred euros a month.

Since the average Thai makes only about 8,000 BAHT (not Euros) I think that would be a bit out of reach for her...

Thanks for taking the time, though...

Scandanavian Rehab located inside Suwattana Garden village off Soi Neurn Plub Wann, has live in nurses, special needs equipment and swimming pools, specialised transport vehicles and more.

Can't he move in with you and her?

Condo for both of us and she is a friend not a live in...

It may take a while to find the right person, but to hire a live in nurse may be the way to go.
