More likely, from the strength and uniformity of the red colour, this is a female (two dots, male has three) Cyana determinata - Red-striped tiger moth.

My mistake. Pic not so clear and small laptop lol.

I too was amazed when I first saw this particular moth. Wasn't around very long, don't know what happened to it.
