I want to buy a new iMac 27" with that Quadcore i7 Chip.

I went to several Apple stores and authorised reseller but they all seem to have only the i5 Model.

Do you know where they sell the i7 iMac in Bangkok?

Additional on the Apple Thailand Web Site I could order it with the i7 chip. But will it be delivered? Is it save? Do you have experience with Online ordering from Apple Thailand?

there is NO i7 iMac available ATM in Asia

only Pro Series and 1 mac Mini.

guess they using the US as Lab Rat first

you can order a i5 over the thai store, and pay about 6500 baht upgrade to i7.

There is actually an iMac core i7 on Apple Store Thailand. U need to customized it after U click the highest model. Refer to screenshot below

Off couse anything order from Online Apple Store Thailand will get delivery. They using DHL which have tracking and signature and ID check is needed when receive.

I ordered many item from online store from Other country before including the new Iphone4s . All get delivered.

8GB should be more than enough. 16gb is just overkill unless U doing a lot of Video editing and multitasking.

got mine awhile back when it was the best you could get ordering online perfect, no problems. I ordered minimum ram and then upgraded with OWC to 16 gig, way cheaper
