Mono Credo Card Retard 100

Featured Replies

Hi, my dad came to Thailand and thought the pharmacy had given him a full box but they gave him half. So now he does not have enough. He has for an other 19 days. But can you get this medicine in Thailand mono credo card retard 100!

Contains isoorbidemononitraat 100mg

Lactose sac rose iron oxide titanium dioxide

Help is après activated, we are now in the south but will be back in bkk later on.

Your post is hard to read as it seems to mix languages together.

I think what you are saying is that your father needs isosorbide mononitrate, a medication taken for heart disease.

If that is so, it is readily available in Thailand under many brand names but you'll need to take care regarding the dosage and also to distinguish between regular and sustained release preparations, it sounds like he may be taking a 100 mg sustained release form of the drug.

There are 3 brands of sustained release isosorbide mononitrate available in Thailand:

Sorbinate. which comes only in 60mg dose

MonolinSR which comes in both 20 and 60 mg dose

Monotrate slow release which comes in 20 and 50 mg doses (careful - there is both a regular and a sustained release form of this brand!)

So assuming I am right as to what it is he is taking, he could take either 2 of the 50mg monotrate (be sure it is the slow release form) or else Monolin SR 1 60 mg plus 2 20 mg tabs

But please first make very sure that (1) this is the drug he is on (2) the dose is 100 mg sustained release form

100mg sustained release is a high dosage, but there are people on that much.

If in any doubt check first with his doctor back home. Specifically, ask if taking the following would be OK and equivalent to what he is currently on:

Isosorbide-5-mononitrate slow/sustained release capsules 100 mg

Sorry For the language mixup, I'm on an iPad and its harder to post then with a regular computer. I also just copied the ingridients of the medicine from the box and that was in Dutch.

It is indeed a heart disease medicine and he takes 100 mg in a time released dose. Thank you for your help
