Task Manager Apps

have iphone with pocket informant which has this capability, toodledo (used for sync) can do it too, but outlook cant. Anyone know of good PC based apps for task management ? ( i dont like web interfaces - slow to use )

I know you said you don't want web interface, but I both used Astrid and Remember The Milk and it was in my opinion fast enough for what it is supposed to do.

Astrid also has the iphone/android apps that are synchronized with the web-interface.
