under applications on your finder, simply drag the said application to your trash.

Empty trash

done.

Do you really want to remove the software? Many of the drivers are built into the operating system these days. You can change your printer in systems preferences. Open system preferences and click on scan and print. Then choose your new printer. If you really want to remove the utility, open finder and type in the device (printer name) in search to locate the folder the utility is in and then drag it to the trash and empty the trash.

System Preferences=>Print and Scan. Highlight the printer in the left hand column that you want to delete and then click the '-' symbol at the bottom of that column. That printer will then be removed.

Thanks! That worked; I was wondering why software update kept wanting to update Lexmark printer drivers - found a Lexmark printer in the list and deleted it, that should stop those - completely useless - updates.
