Hey,

my wife and i are off to Chiang Rai in Jan for a few nights, does anyone know it well and can recomend a cool place to stay ?? we live in Thailand for 7 years now, but have never been to CRai, budget up to £25

any suggestions are vv much appreciated

This looks like a copy/paste job for Scea or some other helpful soul. Maybe someone could offer a cup of coffee or a history of the Rai.

We have never stayed in a hotel here and we put our friends up at our home some I am of no help on this topic. :D

The rewards for being helpful here have grown somewhat tenuous lately.

Other than suggesting the usual Night Market/old bus station/JedYod road area I'll keep out of it.

Diamond Park Inn Resort is about BT1,000 in January. Central, quiet location. Nice pool area.

Not to be confused with the nearby Diamond Park Inn.
