G-Mail New Features

Featured Replies

No I don't want the new view of G-mail

but no apparent way to stop it. :bah:

I just want gmail to save my messages for a few days to allow me

select obvious SPAM and block.............

Is that so surprising?

Where the H*LL do I find these features in the new "wonderful" view

I think everyone agrees with you-the old look is way better.

I had to switch back to it to find the settings button to update filters / manage mail. Haven't switched back.

If they force this new look, I will revisit outlook again.

How did you manage to switch back?

Can't remember but will have a look when I get into the office.

On the line that says MAIL in red on the right, there is a button with a drop down menu, click it on this say 'Revert to old look'

Thanks, but it says it's only temporary.

Yes...I am getting cheesed-off with all these ''Improvements' the web companies are foisting on us...being a creature of habit,I have decided I dont like change...becoming an old fogy I guess.

Maybe, but a lot of the time the new look or improvements of sites are not an improvement and then over the next weeks and month they must keep changing things to make them work...

Some site are a great improvement straight away... for me this new look ThaiVisa, the last one I hated and was always a problem for me or on my PC [easier to blame the PC]..

As for topic Gmail, and the going back to the old version is only temporary, but by then they will have changed things again anyway.. Guess us oldies just have to try to keep up, me i try.. open lots of tabs of the same page then go around clicking on everything to find out what they all do and if I can change thing to how I like. Having other tabs open of the 1st page is good or I will forget what it did look like + if I make a mess still have the start page to get used to or start again

If you think the new look Gmail sucks you can always try the new look Thai Visa and note how much worse it could have been violin.gif

What is it you want to do exactly? Does something happen to your mails after they arrive in the inbox?

As far as I know, none of the feature of gmail have changed, only the layout (some colors, spacing, and a few text buttons replaced with icons buttons).
