Anyone On Here Using Icloud With Their Iphone 4 And Can Help Me?

I just started using icloud with my PC and Iphone 4 and it's a bloody nightmare. Compounded by the fact i have to use Microsoft Exchange server to sync my Hotmail account with icloud.

All my contacts have been wiped from my PC (Outlook) and my phone.

On my phone they have replaced with my Hotmail contacts.

My contacts from outlook are on icloud. I want to put it on my phone and replace it with the hotmail contacts.

Can anyone help with some plain English guidance?
