Sebastian Loeb Best Driver In History?

Has Loeb tried Moto GP? Rossi has had a dab at rally cars, in Monza, he made a helluva lot of x-champions look a bit mundane, coming 2nd to Loeb after 3 days, report here,,

As mentioned moto GP is not an automotive sport it's motorcycles so they're not drivers they're riders..

Well, looking at the pictures and reading the report, pretty sure Rossi was Driving a Ford, and he won 2 stages of the 5, didnt you read this?

Buuuut the OP is not about RIDERS it's about DRIVERS....... If he establishes himself as a top DRIVER then he'll qualify, but 2 wins in a tribute event versus Sebastien who has 8 Championships is not a real life scenario and he hasn't done even close to that yet in the competitive environs of a pro series so therefore not qualified..

JFYI that article doesn't even say who the rest of his competition was it only mentions Loeb so who knows who the rest were or how long out of competition but still you have to take those events with a grain of salt as the drivers are not there to go all out and he was after all the one putting up the tribute, hardly a real world comparison..

Warpy, here is 2 sites that tells you Rossi was taught by Colin Mcrae, and has competed in many rallies, not just the Monza Show,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Valentino_Rossi

and this is a list of drivers at Monza 2011.

in answer to your op, no, i dont think Loeb is the greatest driver ever, Rossi, on his second day of testing Ferrari F1 got to 1/2 second of that cheat Shumacker, It seems that Rossi will go to WRC next year or year after, then Loeb better look out,

Not saying SL is not good at his job, but Rossi does it for fun, perhaps the new Valentino Surtees, or John Rossi?

Good luck with that, I think he and YOU are in for a reality check and a real surprise. IF it ever happens... JFYI None of that is new information to me BTW. When/if Rossi ever has even 1 Championship under his belt then maybe he can be considered a respectable DRIVER but still far short of the best and until then he's still just a motocy RIDER..
