Playing Gigs In Bangkok

I have an indy pop/rock band and would like the experience of playing a few gigs in Bangkok. No need to pay us, we will do it for the crack/laugh. But who to contact? We have a CD available if anyone would consider putting us on.

A while ago, I think I read something about farang musicians in Chiang Mai, and work permits, but are you 100 % it's needed when playing for free?

Speak with the manager Mook of Checkinn99 on a Sat or Sunday evening.hole in the wall entrance. opposite the Landmark Hotel on Sukhumvit Rd between Sois 5 & 7... They have a few spare night spots on Sundays and support newbies / standup singers.. Bring the CD.
